This is a superb Meredew sideboard which was manufactured to the highest of standards circa 1960/1970.  She started off life as a dressing table and, if preferred, can stay that way with the addition of the original mirror which is also available.  The curved top and front, with 2 drawers, and 2 cupboards provides storage where space is at a premium. 
 
The makeover is stunning. The whole piece has had a thorough refurbishment with the exposed veneer on the doors and top drawer sanded back to its original state and then treated with Wise Owl Furniture Wax with Hemp oil.  The resulting finish being a lovely satin finish. The paintwork is a dark grey mineral paint with black highlights to the handles and black funky stripes.  Even inside the cupboards and drawers have been nourished with a wax/hemp oil treatment!
